Today is the first day of the rest of my life and there is much to do. At 76 I cannot afford to waste time but sometimes I feel that motivation has left me…yet I am able to motivate others.
We (In England) are in the second lockdown due to Covid-19 and I feel so for those who are not able to earn money, see family and be with loved ones. That includes me. I miss my children, grandchidren and great-grandson Ethan…plus another baby on the way who I may not see for many weeks yet.
Our government is in tumoil, we have the virus, a failing economy, Brexit and no real negotions to stop us falling the cliff edge in January.
In the world there is so much anger; President Trump lost the election and refuses to admit it…that means the incoming President Elect Joe Biden gets a difficult start. Fighting on the streets is not a democracy and USA should be better than this.
My youngest son, nearly 50, had spent years living and working in Thailand; this weekend he has flown to Canada to be with his fiance. He will get immigration papers and hopefully get married there…I am happy that he is happy…and if fit enough, I will go to see them when we are allowed to travel again.
Now to get back to work….
