You know what it’s like, so many jobs to do and some not very nice jobs, so we go and make a drink or something else to put it out of our minds for a while.

In reality if you change your mindset and decide to do the job in question NOW, it will be off your mind for ever. So why carry the burden of ‘stuff to do’ when by just doing it, your world is a better place.

Changing your mindset is easy when you know how.

Who is in charge of your thoughts?

Who is in charge of your actions?

The answer to both of these questions of course, you. No one else can make you think something that you choose not to. No one can make you do something that you would consider wrong. (This is about your personal integrity; some people die for their beliefs, though I hasten to add, this is not being asked of you at this time.)

When I have clients who are overweight and unhappy about it,  I explain that no one but them is putting the food in their mouths. They are not forced to eat the quantities or types of food that are making them fat.  Nor are the forced to think that they cannot change.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) can help a great deal with these issues. Once learned you  will have the skill to use it when ever you need to change your mindset, make changes for the better, or just to remember who you really are.

If you are struggling with ‘too much to do’, or ‘why can’t I stop eating’ and can’t be bothered to do anything about it…..just remember who is in charge of you.

Think the way you really want to,  be the person you really want to be….change your mindset and see what a difference this will make to your life.
