You know what it’s like, you get all in state about something or somebody and no matter how hard you try, you cannot think about anything else. The brain is in ‘inner chatter’ mode and closes out reason and of course your intuition.

This is sometimes known as an ‘overwhelm’ and can also happen when you are involved in an accident or other trauma. This lack of clear thinking can lead to mistakes and poor judgement so to avoid all of this additional stress you need to follow the following technique.

First remember to breathe….deep from the bottom of your lungs…then do it again. Oxygen will revitalise the brain, which when in trauma can be lacking, this also gives you time to pause and reflect. There is nothing so bad you cannot cope, nothing so emotionally painful that cannot be mended.

Then using EFT(Emotional Freedom Techniques) just tap in the side of your hand, we call it the Karate Chop, it’s the fleshy side, then tap on your collar-bone, near the middle. Continue to breathe, slowly and deeply and continue the tapping.

This will calm your anxiety and reduce feelings of panic.

Now take yourself back to the incident or accident or person and re-live it the way you want it to turn out. This is using the power of your mind to access the Law of Attraction.

By ‘intending’ the outcome with some deep concentration you can affect your life. I can’t guarantee that the trauma will be changed out of all recognition, but the way you respond to it will be…and you never know, you may even change the course of your life.

Learning how to master your emotions will enhance your life, so get to know your chattering monkey and understand how you can clear its inner noise. You then rise above the ordinary and cope with life so much better.
