I know that many of us are aware that some relationships are permeated with fear, people are scared of doing the wrong thing or saying something that sets off a row. It’s not easy to see why, it’s not a simple thing to deal with, it is however it is too simple to set the blame on one party within that relationship.
In most cases, it takes two to tango, and two to create the atmosphere of conflict. There are occasions of course when one party may be mentally unstable or confused and that will create an area of animosity.
Recently my clients have been women finding some relationships getting more difficult as they get older. For instance, their mothers who still rely on them, taking up time, both emotionally and physically and who may even have lost their mental abilities.
Then there are the husbands or partners who are not growing old gracefully but becoming neglectful and thoughtless. There is nothing worst than a rude and indifferent man around the place!
I also hear about men who bully their partners and inflict mental and, or physical abuse and I was once in such a relationship, so I understand and had years of tiptoeing around, with fear of retribution.
We tend to believe it’s only women who suffer but some men are, in the old-fashioned words hen pecked and for older men, it must be difficult to talk about and be believed.
We can all be thoughtless, even self-centred but living with anxiety, even fear, brought about by these relationship issues is detrimental to the sufferer and those around them.
The techniques I use for clients with these issues are tried and tested, simple to learn and can be used forever, they reduce the fear and emotional pain, they provide sound ideas for a better future and the knowledge that they are not alone, and I will be here for them.
As you will know I have been actively getting to grips with offerings to my clients, now I am approaching the great age of 78, I take fewer clients because I have less energy, yes coaching takes lots of energy, so I have been packaging my work into online courses.
So, now having been reminded about the special issues women face as we age, I have been busy!
On my website, there are already a couple of inexpensive courses, but a new one is about to go live. “Emotional Rescue for Women with Relationship Challenges” is just what it says, it takes the learner from the pain of rejection or mental abuse to the techniques which will help to overcome them and then how to create a better and happier life.
I am now just waiting for a couple of volunteers, to do the course for FREE and provide me with feedback so I can set a proper price and a release date.
Diane – let me help you deal with the pain, the anxiety and distress….you do not have to be a victim!
